My journey began as a child, knowing in my heart that I would one day give a voice to my own children, that voice led me to Birstall Preschool…. 28 years along the way I am now not just one voice, but part of a team of ladies who equally share the same values, who commit their lives by making a difference to every family. I have had the honour to be mentored by inspirational professionals, opening up my role over the years…this has progressed to working closely on a deeper level with our families. I am so happy to have had the privilege to play a part in the most important time of a child's educational journey.

Based in the little village of Birstall, we are non profit setting who provide a high level of childcare. In our ethos we follow a pedagogy that uses loose parts, natural and holistic items and real authentic materials to support and inspire curiosity, respect and a sense of self worth back into the minds of our young children.

Baby room 0-2years
The beginning stages of your childs journey with us at preschool. The room holds upto 6 babies per day allowing for a more relaxed slow paced environment for your child to settle into, our baby room team consists of Jamie, Kirsty & Katie, all experienced Level 3 practioners providing the highest level of care for your child.
2-3 year room
Our fabulous 2 year room inspires curiosity from the very beginning, a new way of play, an endless opportunity for developing language, cognitive functions and the seedlings of friendships. In this room, Alex, Courtney, Kim, Meghan & Sally encompass your children, navigate and support them through their journey at preschool.
Pre-school room 3+
The final part of your child's journey with us, fostering independence, promoting school readiness, and building upon each experience they've had with us.
Our preschool team, Lucy, Dawn, Amy, Maxine & Sally are passionate about ensuring that your child leaves our nursery with not only a powerful sense of belonging, but also the skills to be able to navigate their way through the next chapter.
