All staff members undertake safeguarding training regularly and all floor based staff are first aid trained. Staff actively undertake various training courses to cover behavioural, SEN, nutrition, allergies, and other important areas of development.

Level 4 HLTA - working towards Level 3 Childcare, first aid.
Sally brings a wealth of knowledge behind her, having worked in a local primary school for 14 years. Currently based in the pre-school room Sally encompasses the children and is a keen story teller.

Sue's exceptional work with parent partnership, families and the local community is what makes Birstall Pre School so special. Starting as a practitioner 30 years ago, Sue is embedded in the foundation of our future.

Amy's energetic, driven nature and great DIY skills prove to be an extremely important part of our team. Amy has been with us for almost 3 years and is based in the Pre school room.

Granny Kimble's started with us in 2021 and is such an important part of our setting, she offers the warm and empathetic qualities that are so important in those early years. Kim is based in the 2-3 room and is a valued member of the team.

Alex is a long standing member of the team, she has been with us for 20+ years! Leads by example and demonstrates professionalism in their day to day. Alex is based in the 2-3 year room alongside her Deputy manager role.

Bianca started with us in 2014 and is one of our specialist supporting adults working alongside our children with SEN, as well as working with other children. Bianca's calm and gentle nature makes her an invaluable member of our team.

With her natural maternal nature and calm approach, Kirsty is the perfect addition to our baby room where those instrumental characteristics matter most! Kirsty has been with us for just over 4 years.

Linzi is our Nursery cook, she provides nutritious meals for the children throughout the day, and maintains our 5* environmental health rating! The children love to have conversations with Linzi throughout the morning over the kitchen countertop!

Maxine offers a creative and forward thinking narrative amongst the pre-schoolers, having been with us for over 20 years she knows the role like the back of her hand! Maxine is based in the pre school room.

Diana has been with us for over 10 years, originally as a parent! She is our SEN Coordinator who over see's anything SEND related and support Bianca and Jo in their roles. Diana is extremely passionate about her role and that shines through in her daily practice!

Emily is based in the office and works alongside Becka and Sue, Emily over see's the funding, admissions and finance side of the business! Becka and Emily work closely within their role and so if you cant get hold of one then try the other!

Meghan is based in our 2-3 room and her passion for her work is evident. Meghan excels in parent partnership, and values the importance of those strong relationships and how detrimental they are to a child's development.
