" Forest school at Birstall Pre-School is a hands on approach that takes learnings outdoors, using nature as the classroom. Children have a weekly session outside in their lovely outdoor provision, taking part in activities such as observing wildlife, imaginative play, safely toasting marshmallows over a small supervised fire and completing a different nature-inspired craft each week. These experiences support creativity, fine motor skills, confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing. I truly love visiting Birstall Pre-School, especially being part of a setting that values outdoor learning and gives children such joyful, meaningful experiences in nature."
